A significant collaboration came with the 2007 Ascent Ferrari, developed in partnership with Ferrari, featuring the prancing horse logo, a scaled-down accelerator pedal, and the iconic engine roar. The 2008 Ascent Ti introduced an aerospace-grade titanium chassis for exceptional durability, combined with sports-car-inspired leather. While the later 2013 Vertu Ti retained the titanium build, its theme shifted toward the enduring strength of the Knights of the Round Table. Aster Leaf (2016)

In 2016, Vertu launched the Aster Leaf series, a unique collaboration with acclaimed leather and craft designer Carina Sohl. Known for her handmade, embossed leather, Sohl drew inspiration from an autumn walk, where she was captivated by the natural artistry of a fallen leaf. This moment led her to experiment with embossing intricate foliage patterns onto leather, translating nature’s quiet beauty into tactile form.

Vertu commissioned Sohl to bring this distinct aesthetic to a bespoke phone series. The result was the Aster Leaf mobile, featuring soft, natural aniline leather handcrafted by Carina Sohl. With the introduction of the Signature Touch, this legacy evolved into a smartphone—seamlessly blending intricate artisan craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology and reflecting the essence of British luxury.

A key differentiator is the series' exclusive collaborations, showcasing artistic expression and brand partnerships. Examples include the Signature Auspicious with Japanese lacquer art by Kazumi Murose, the Signature Touch Calligraphy series with Wissam Shawkat based on the theme of ‘love', and the Bentley edition celebrating shared craft values. Signature S Clous De Paris series, honoring mountaineer George Mallory with designs referencing climbing gear and courage, and archaeologist William Flinders Petrie, using patterns inspired by the Great Pyramid and precious materials like gold and diamonds. The Signature Extreme Black paid homage to Arthur C. Clarke and “2001: A Space Odyssey,” designed to resemble the mysterious black monolith and symbolizing knowledge and space. The Signature Black & White celebrated Charlie Chaplin and silent cinema, capturing the era's aesthetic contrast. The Signature S Black Calfskin Gold honored Captain Cook, reflecting the spirit of exploration and enterprise through design elements.

AYXTA Fold- Vertu’s 1st Foldable Phone

The Vertu Ayxta Fold is introduced as the company's first foldable mobile phone. It features a flexible 7.8-inch full screen with a wide colour range and high resolution, built using breakthrough technology and precision machining. The innovative screen can be easily opened and closed from 0° to 180°, like a notebook.

The phone is presented as a tribute to Oscar Wilde, capturing the spirit of his creativity and designed for portability, allowing users to jot down ideas anywhere. The name “Ayxta” relates to travel, referencing the X and Y axes on a map. It promises an extraordinary luxury mobile experience.

As the first female winner of the Pritzker Prize, Zaha Hadid was a hugely influential architect famous for her futuristic curving designs.
